Let us introduce ourselves… We are six Cinema lovers: Cesare, Carola, Giulia, Senda and Mourad. And… We are going to show you our adventure in Venice. The theme that we chose is: Cinema through unusual places.

Our itinerary consists in retracing different places where movies such as “The Tourist”, “007”, “Casanova” , “Venezia la luna e tu” and “Indiana Jones” are set.

The tour  is based on places where scenes were shot for example, an emblematic scene of Indiana Jones were shot in front of San Barnaba or even in James Bond “Casino Royale” where we can see during a few seconds the secret agent 007 on a boat in “the Grand Canal”.

 Moreover, scenes have to contribute to create the tale (legend) around Venice. Thought their movies, peoples recognize, identify and notice the particularity of this city. Venice became a touristic place. In fact, we can underline the development of tourism also referred to the cinematographic production. We can assert that Venice has won a glorious image around the world.

Therefore, it is essential to show the link between Venice and the Cinema. We think also that Venice provides amazing places for all kind of movie and that is why it gets an important advantage above other destinations. In addition, this city is characterized by atypical and authentic landscapes.

To reach these places, we designed an “unusual” (the path includes non-tourists streets) itinerary that starts from Mestre station at 12.30 and ends in Fonamenta Nuove at 17.30.
